Playtest 2: Your Transformative Game Design
Complete your second Playtest and Feedback Session of your nanogame with your group.
- Remember that each playtest and feedback session should not exceed 1 hour: 45 minutes maximum for the playtest making sure you save 15 min for feedback from all participants.
- Make sure that each student’s game gets playtested. This may require more than one video call.  Â
- Come to your playtests prepared with your playtest plan and questions for feedback from your playtesters.
- Remember to collect all feedback during the session itself, not after you leave the video conferencing session.Â
Important: Do not assign “homework” to the participants after the session, such as questionnaires or interviews. All feedback should be collected in the session itself.
Note: We recommend using Gallery view in Zoom to make sure you can see all the players, especially if you plan on using in-game safety mechanics. You can also use Zoom’s built-in features, such as the X button; thumbs up and down; and chat for off-game safety communication.
