Review: Diana J. Leonard, Jovo Janjetovic, and Maximilian Usman’s “Playing to Experience Marginalization: Benefits and Drawbacks of ‘Dark Tourism’ in Larp.”

Then, answer the following questions:

  2. Consider a game you have played with representations of marginalized groups or non-Western cultures. What tier would you say this game featured? Be specific.

    • If you have not designed games with this content, consider a hypothetical game you might want to design.
  1. Have you engaged in cultural consulting or sensitivity readings, either as a consultant yourself or having consulted with someone else? If so, what was that experience like?
  2. How might cultural consulting help increase the potential for cultivating transformational communities? Be specific.
