Discussion 4: Emotional Intensity and Role-playing Games

Choose three (3) items that you have not yet read for this course from three (3) of the following categories: Triggers, Activation, and Emotional Flooding; Bleed; Alibi; and Post-Game Emotional Reactions.

Then, answer the following questions for each item:

  1. Describe the content of the item in 3-4 sentences.
    • Did you find anything surprising or intriguing?
    • Did you find this content personally relatable? Why or why not?
    • How might a group intentionally set the container to address the content in this article for the purposes of transformative play? Be specific.
