Overview: Representation and Tech Ethics in RPG Design
Welcome to Unit 9 on Representation and Tech Ethics in RPG Design! In this unit, we will primarily focus on the way disabilities are represented in role-playing game design. While our materials this week will focus on tabletop, the same issues described are present in many traditional larps.
We will discuss topics pertaining to accessibility in facilitation and community development in later courses.
In this Unit, we will cover:
- Representations of disability in tabletop
- The impact of representation on inclusion
- Ethics and Generative AI
